Memorial Day weekend was a busy weekend for the Nepo crew. After traveling to Ames late Saturday night following a separate event Saturday, the crew got a few hours of sleep. Eric, Katie, Frank, Ben, and Joe got up and headed to Stephens Auditorium on the Iowa State campus and began setting equipment up for Nicole’s School of Dance 2010 recital. By 10AM, we were doing final line checks and were ready for the first of three recitals beginning at 11AM.

We survived the day, mostly due to being able to find enough time to send a camera guy to Great Plains Sauce & Dough Co after the 11AM show. Ben came back with 2 large pizzas, some of the best pizza in Iowa if you ask any of the Nepo crew!

We finally wrapped at about 11PM and headed back to Cedar Rapids. A long day of recitals, but we always enjoy Nicole’s shows.
