Taran and Jason

Wedding season is upon us and we are excited to work with the new bride and grooms we have booked and new couples that are looking for a videographer to capture their most important day.

Eric and Frank from Nepo Productions got an early start this year capturing Taran and Jason’s wedding April 3rd. The Chicago-ans got married and had their reception at the Cedar Rapids Marriott. We had a great time with Taran and Jason.

At the moment, the project is progressing as planned. The high definition footage has been captured and one of our editors, Matt, has been slaving away in front of a computer for hours now to create a beautiful, cinematic video that Taran and Jason will hopefully love. We are ahead of schedule and plan to have their DVDs delivered within the next two weeks. Check back for a sample clip once.

We did have a bit of a laugh at Jason. As he and his fabulous bride were walking out of the room following the ceremony, he seemed to forget this his wireless lavaliere mic was still on and feeding to the sound system in the room. He mentioned that he “was a sweaty mess right now”. The guests in the room all had a good laugh and Jason was pleasantly reminded that his mic was still on.

We would also like to mention our new friends Missy and James from Drescher Photo and Design. They were incredibly good to work with and the photos looked fantastic! You can see some of their pictures from the wedding on their blog. We look forward to working with Missy and James again soon!

Also, the crew at UBetts Rental and Design did a fantastic job of converting a hotel ballroom into a beautiful room for a wedding.
