2010 Xavier Xtravaganza

Nepo Productions made a short move down 42nd St from Kennedy High School last weekend to Xavier High School to provide video production for the 2010 Xavier Xtravaganza Show Choir Competition.

14 show choir groups from middle schools around the area performed during the day. Schools included Isaac Newton, Linn-Mar Oak Ridge, Harding, Regis, Linn-Mar Excelsior, Solon, LaSalle, Vernon, Hudson, Franklin, and McKinley. Plus, the crowd got treated to the two exhibition performances by Xavier’s own Xhilaration and Xuberance. Only six groups could make it to the finals. Here’s how the Finals ended up.

  • Grand Champion – Regis Eclipse
  • 1st Runner Up – McKinley Classic Edition
  • 2nd Runner Up – Harding Classic Innovation
  • 3rd Runner Up – Franklin FLaPCo
  • 4th Runner Up – Hudson Premier Edition
  • 5th Runner Up – Regis Radiance

The Grand Champions, Regis Eclipse, also took home Caption awards Best Choreography and Best Vocal Sound.
