If you are reading this, I’m guessing you’ve been startled by myself hanging upside down from the top of your browser at www.NepoProductions.com. First off, I’ll apologize for surprising anyone. Second, I’ll apologize if it happened at work when you should have been working anyway!

The videos play randomly whenever you go to the site. If you hit refresh, you’ll randomly get a different one. We’ve had quite a few comments about them while talking with clients over the phone. Most of the time people are wondering how many different versions there are. We decided to answer that question right here. Currently, there are five versions of me hanging upside down and 1 version of me peeking in from the side.

When we originally shot them, I wanted to actually hang upside down to make everything as real as possible. We spent about an hour trying to figure out how to do just that. Our brilliant plan was to set up two ladders and set a heavy duty bar across them. It took another 10 minutes just for me to figure out how to get myself hung upside down. After about 30 seconds of hanging upside and feeling like my head was going to pop, I decided we would shoot right side up and flip me upside down in post.

After everyone was done laughing at me and my face started to fade from purple back to it’s natural color, we started coming up with some ideas on the spot. We would came up with a couple of ideas, shot them and would come up with a couple more and so on. There were a lot of laughs, mostly at my expense, but it was a fun day of shooting. I would like to thank Brad over at Black Iris Photography for helping out.

We are brainstorming some new ideas for the site. Hopefully we can shoot a few more in early spring. If you have any ideas, we would love to hear them.
