2010 Linn-Mar Supernova Show Choir Competition

We loaded up our cameras and equipment and headed to Linn-Mar High School January 16th for the 10th annual Supernova Show Choir Invitational. Supernova is the first of many show choir competitions for us as in the new year.
Here are the Finals results…

- 3rd Runner Up • CR Washington Momentum
- 4th Runner Up • Bemidji Vocalmotive
- 5th Runner Up • Sioux Falls Washinton Classic Connection
- Best Vocals • Totino-Grace Company of Singers
- Best Band • Totino-Grace Company of Singers
- Best Choreography • Totino-Grace Company of Singers
- Prep Division Grand Champion • Urbandale Vitality
You can find the DVDs of the entire finals session and DVDs of each individual group that performed during the day-round. New this year – We are offering mp3′s of each group that performed in the finals. Also available are down-loadable videos of each group from the finals. These videos are formatted for the iPhone/iPod. They can also be played on your computer via iTunes or Quicktime. You can find all of these over at www.TheNepoStore.com.

Hi- I’m the proud parent of a show choir student! Our High School show choir program is in its 4th year, and we are in the plan and learn stage of hosting our own show choir invitational/competition. I am looking for good resources for show choir competion planning/organization–any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Shelly – We can certainly help with the technical aspect of a competition. We have worked with a lot of sound companies around the midwest and you are welcome to talk with us about your video production needs.
For other information, I would recommend talking with the directors and committee members from other competitions you may be attending with your group.
